Taiwan’s Foxconn is setting up a semiconductor factory in Malaysia for EVs

The key iPhone assembler Foxconn will be building the first 12-inch semiconductor manufacturing plant in Malaysia meant for EVs.

The planned plant is also expected to produce 40,000 wafers per month, including both 28-nm and 40-nm technologies.
